FREMANTLE introduction:

Basics:
Fremantle Harbor is the largest and busiest general cargo port in Western Australia. The inner harbor handling sea containers, vehicle imports and livestock exports, cruise shipping and naval visits. The outer harbor handles bulk cargo ports, grain, petroleum, liquefied petroleum gas, alumina, mineral sands and other bulk commodities. The inner harbor includes North Quay and Victoria Quay with the whole area managed by the Fremantle Port Authority.

Port Area:
There are two lighthouses on either side of the harbor entrance, one in operation since 1903 and the other since 1906. They are located at the end of the westernmost point of the harbor.

Climate:
Fremantle feature a Mediterranean climate. There is regular sea breeze in summertime.
